Product Terms
Product-specific terms for Do.Qix SaaS products. Read alongside our general Terms and Conditions.
How this document fits with the general Terms. The terms on this page apply in addition to the general Do.Qix Terms and Conditions. The general terms cover billing, cancellation, data and privacy, service levels, intellectual property, liability, and dispute resolution. This page covers what is specific to each product. Where this page conflicts with the general terms, this page prevails for the product in question.
NomadIQ
NomadIQ is a multi-tenant field operations platform with offline-first mobile access, GPS-verified check-ins, and per-company branding.
Pricing
Custom per organisation, based on number of staff, vehicles, tenants, and integration scope. Contact us for a quote. Detailed pricing and operational terms specific to your engagement will be issued in your service agreement at the time of quotation.
Data residency
Hosted on South African infrastructure. The data and privacy commitments in our Terms and Conditions and Privacy Policy apply.
Mobile data
The mobile PWA caches data offline. Sync requires connectivity. We are not responsible for data lost due to device failure or device replacement before a successful sync.
VendIQ
VendIQ is an inventory decision service for manufacturers, wholesalers, retailers and independent traders. It takes the data you export about what you hold and what moved, checks it, grades the decisions your team made against rules you set, and shows where a different decision would have been better, with the money at stake. On each new data drop it grades past decisions again against what actually happened.
Pricing
Pricing is quoted per engagement. It is made up of a set-up fee, covering the work to get VendIQ running on the product groups you choose, and a monthly fee based on the number of product groups you run. Contact us for a quote. The fees, billing terms and operational terms for your engagement are set out in your service agreement at the time of quotation, and the service agreement takes precedence over this summary.
Your data
VendIQ works from the data you provide or grant access to. The accuracy of its output depends on the quality and completeness of that data. You own your data and the outcomes derived from it.
Each client's data is held in its own separate database and is not stored alongside, or made available to, any other client. Nothing derived from your data or your decisions is used for another client. VendIQ does not write back to your systems and does not require a login to your systems.
Your rules
The thresholds VendIQ grades against are set and owned by you. You are responsible for reviewing and approving them. Changes to a rule are recorded. VendIQ does not change your rules without your instruction.
Grades and recommendations are advisory
Grades, recommendations, figures at risk and reports are advisory information. They are produced automatically from your data and your rules, and they do not replace the judgement of the people in your business. You remain solely responsible for any stock, purchasing, pricing, production or commercial decision you make on the basis of VendIQ output.
VendIQ does not take decisions or actions on your behalf. If an automated action is offered in future, it will only operate once you have switched it on in writing, within limits you have set, and every action will be logged.
Written summaries
Some reports include plain-language summaries written by a language model from figures that have already been checked. The model does not calculate figures, and a separate check rejects a summary that contains a number which cannot be traced to source. Summaries should still be read alongside the figures they describe before being used for a commercial decision.
What is not included
- Market, consumer or competitor data.
- Modelling of bills of materials or work in progress.
- Running your planning process.
Cancellation
Notice periods, and the export and deletion of your data on cancellation, are set out in your service agreement. The general cancellation terms in our Terms and Conditions apply alongside it.
VoltIQ
VoltIQ is a multi-brand solar fleet monitoring platform for installers. It pulls telemetry from supported manufacturer portals, presents it on a unified dashboard, and generates automated issue alerts. On the Fleet tier it also identifies upsell opportunities, applies your branding to the dashboard, and delivers co-branded WhatsApp morning reports.
VoltIQ Home is R99 per month per home. VoltIQ Installer starts at R299 per month. VoltIQ Fleet is R999 per month per large site. All in ZAR, billed monthly in advance. Month-to-month, no long-term contract. Each tier covers the scope set out below, and the add-ons listed for that tier are quoted and charged separately. The total monthly amount for your account is confirmed in writing before the first invoice.
What each tier includes
VoltIQ Home (R99 per month per home) covers one home and delivers a WhatsApp alert when that installation needs attention. It does not include dashboard access. Regular scheduled reporting and each additional home are add-ons charged on top.
VoltIQ Installer (from R299 per month) covers every system you have fitted, whatever the number, and includes the unified multi-brand dashboard, the WhatsApp message, automated issue detection and alerts you can confirm, assign or dismiss, and encrypted storage of the portal credentials you supply. Adding installations does not change the price. Scheduled reporting beyond the standard message is an add-on charged on top.
VoltIQ Fleet (R999 per month per large site) is priced per large site and includes, for each site, a dashboard and a weekly report, fleet-level analytics across the sites on your account, and multi-user access for your team regardless of headcount. The following are Fleet add-ons, quoted and charged separately: additional reports, early fault warnings, upsell opportunity flagging, the white-label dashboard in your own branding, and suggestions generated from your fleet's own baselines and history.
Where a clause below refers to white-label branding, upsell flagging, analytics, or early fault warnings, it applies to the Fleet tier, and to the add-ons on that tier where the item is listed above as an add-on rather than included. Where a clause refers to dashboard access, it applies to the Installer and Fleet tiers. Add-ons are only active on your account once quoted, accepted and invoiced.
Analytics, suggestions and early warnings (Fleet)
Fleet analytics, suggestions and early fault warnings are produced automatically from the telemetry VoltIQ has collected for your account and from baselines derived from it. They are advisory information on exactly the same basis as issue alerts: they are not a prediction you should rely on in place of inspection, and they carry no warranty of accuracy or completeness. A suggestion is a prompt to investigate, not an instruction to act.
Early fault warnings are best-effort. A warning may not be raised before a failure, and a warning may be raised for a system that does not subsequently fail.
Price changes
Any change to a published price requires 30 days' written notice and applies from the next billing cycle. You may cancel before the new price takes effect.
Supported inverters
- Deye
- Sunsynk
- Luxpower
- FoxESS
"Supported" means VoltIQ ingests telemetry from the manufacturer's portal or API and applies the feature set available on your tier, as set out above.
Other brands
We will add additional inverter brands over time. We make no guarantee of compatibility with any specific brand, model, firmware version, or third-party portal until that brand is listed as supported above. Subscribing to VoltIQ for a brand not yet listed is at your own risk and not eligible for a refund if integration is not feasible.
Upstream portals and continuity
VoltIQ pulls telemetry from each manufacturer's portal or API using credentials you provide. You are responsible for keeping those credentials valid (passwords, two-factor settings, OAuth tokens, account permissions). VoltIQ cannot deliver monitoring for an installation whose upstream credentials have lapsed.
Continuity of VoltIQ depends on upstream manufacturer portals remaining available. Outages, rate limits, or breaking API changes on the upstream side are excluded from our uptime target. We will work to restore service as quickly as the upstream allows but accept no liability for losses resulting from upstream disruption.
Alerts and reports are advisory
Issue alerts, upsell flags, and morning reports are advisory information. They are generated automatically from telemetry and do not replace site visits, electrical inspections, certified compliance checks, or licensed installer judgment. You remain solely responsible for any installation, repair, or commercial decision made on the basis of VoltIQ output.
Automated issue detection is best-effort. False positives and missed events can occur, particularly during firmware updates, extreme weather, or upstream API issues. We continuously improve detection logic but make no warranty of completeness or accuracy.
WhatsApp messaging
Co-branded WhatsApp morning reports are delivered through our messaging provider. The report carries your installer branding alongside the Do.Qix-powered footer.
End-user opt-in is your responsibility as the installer. You confirm that every recipient of a VoltIQ WhatsApp message has consented to receive automated solar performance updates from your business. We reserve the right to suspend WhatsApp messaging on credible reports of unsolicited contact, spam complaints, or breaches of WhatsApp's Business Policy. We will notify you in writing and provide a remediation window where reasonably possible.
White-label dashboard
The VoltIQ dashboard supports installer branding (logo, colour, contact details). Brand assets you upload remain your intellectual property. The underlying VoltIQ platform, including data models, detection logic, dashboard code, and report templates, remains the intellectual property of Do.Qix.
Cancellation
You may cancel at any time. On cancellation:
- VoltIQ stops pulling telemetry at the end of the current billing cycle.
- Co-branded WhatsApp reports stop at the same time.
- On Installer and Fleet, your dashboard remains read-only for a 30-day data export window. After that, your VoltIQ data is permanently deleted. Home has no dashboard, so nothing is retained beyond that period either.
- Cancellation does not affect the inverter installations themselves or your relationship with the manufacturer's portal. Those continue to operate independently of VoltIQ.
The general cancellation terms in our Terms and Conditions apply alongside the above.
SocialIQ
SocialIQ is an automated social media writer for SA businesses. It scrapes your industry sources, drafts 15 posts a week in your brand voice, and queues everything in a dashboard for you to approve before publishing.
SocialIQ has three published pricing tiers, in ZAR, billed monthly in advance. Basic is R499/month, Pro is R899/month, and Enterprise is custom-quoted. Month-to-month, no long-term contract.
Pricing tiers
- Basic (R499/month): 1 pipeline, 1 user.
- Pro (R899/month): 5 pipelines, 5 users.
- Enterprise (custom pricing): quoted by Do.Qix for larger pipeline and user counts.
A pipeline is one brand or client voice: its own topics, sources, and connected social channels. Agencies running SocialIQ for multiple clients typically need one pipeline per client. Basic and Pro sign up directly at the dashboard; Enterprise scope and price are confirmed in your engagement letter before the first billing cycle.
What's included at every tier
- Research engine: scrapes RSS feeds and other industry sources you configure, scores items for relevance, and surfaces the best material for the writer.
- Brand-voice configuration: tone, vocabulary, do-not-say lists, and target audiences are configured once in your dashboard and apply to every draft.
- Weekly preview: the next cycle's content lands in the dashboard for you to edit, approve, or kill before anything publishes.
- Image generation: visuals are generated alongside each post; you can swap them in the dashboard.
- Feedback loop: every approval, edit, and rejection sharpens the next round. Drafts sound more like you over time, not less.
What's not included
- Publishing to platforms: SocialIQ produces ready-to-post drafts. You connect your own LinkedIn, Instagram, and Facebook accounts (or copy-paste into your scheduler). We do not store credentials for the destination platforms.
- Paid media management: SocialIQ writes the organic content; ad spend, targeting, and campaign management are not part of this product.
- Strategic consulting: SocialIQ executes a content cadence; messaging strategy and brand positioning are out of scope (we offer that separately under Automation Services).
AI-generated drafts are advisory
Every post is AI-generated and queued for human review. We expect you to read each draft before approving. SocialIQ's role is to remove the blank-page problem; final content responsibility (accuracy, claims, regulatory compliance for your industry) rests with the approver.
Data sources
You configure the research sources (RSS feeds, blogs, public APIs). SocialIQ does not scrape closed platforms or anything that requires logged-in access without your explicit setup. Continuity depends on those upstream sources remaining available; outages on the source side are excluded from our uptime target.
Cancellation
You may cancel at any time. On cancellation:
- Drafting stops at the end of the current billing cycle.
- Your dashboard remains read-only for a 30-day data export window. After that, your SocialIQ data is permanently deleted.
- Cancellation does not affect your social accounts or anything you have already published.
The general cancellation terms in our Terms and Conditions apply alongside the above.
CricketIQ
CricketIQ is a cricket scoring app, live scoreboard and match insights service for clubs, schools, tournament organisers, scorers and coaches. It runs in a web browser and can be added to the home screen of a phone, tablet or computer. Supporters can follow matches without an account.
Pricing
Pricing is quoted per club, school or tournament. Contact us for a quote. The fees, billing terms and any operational terms for your club, school or tournament are set out in writing at the time of quotation, and that written agreement takes precedence over this summary.
Scores and records
Scores are entered by the scorers your club, school or tournament appoints. CricketIQ checks each ball against the Laws of Cricket and the match rules you set, but the accuracy of a scorecard depends on what is entered. The result of a match is the result recorded by the appointed scorers and officials. Where collaborative scoring is switched on, differences between the two scorers are shown for them to resolve; CricketIQ does not decide them.
Corrections to a ball or a total require a reason, are kept on record, and a corrected score is marked as altered.
Insights are informational
Win chance, match-ups, player of the match points, rankings and other insights are calculated estimates produced automatically from the scored balls. They are provided for information, coaching and interest only, and do not form part of an official result, selection decision or competition standing unless your competition chooses to adopt them.
Offline scoring
Balls scored without a signal are stored on the scorer's device and sent when a connection returns. Until then, live viewers will not see those balls. Clearing the browser's data or losing the device before balls are sent can lose them, so scorers should let the app connect before clearing data or changing devices.
Player data and juniors
Clubs, schools and tournaments that register players are responsible for having the right to share those players' names and details, including consent from a parent or guardian for players under 18. Guardians can be linked to junior players. Player and match data is processed under our Privacy Policy and POPIA. Match pages and scorecards are visible to anyone with the link.
Advertising
CricketIQ does not place advertising over the scoring pad or the live score.
Features in development
Features described on our website as coming this season, later, or as a concept (including school rankings, club and school pages in your own colours, the field planner and sponsorship) are not part of the service until they are released, and their timing and final form may change.
Cancellation
Notice periods, and the export and deletion of your club's data on cancellation, are set out in your written agreement. The general cancellation terms in our Terms and Conditions apply alongside it.
